Sequoias in Fog, a photo from California, West

Photographer's Note

Despite beautiful weather at the bottom of the moutain, as I drove up to Sequoia Natl Park the fog just appeared. When I checked-in at the lodge they assured me that it would clear overnight, but I took the opportunity to shoot in the fog - and ended up getting one of my better shots through the mist. These trees are absolutely amazing and it is impossible to truly convey how huge they actually are in a photo.

Hi Russ,
Very beautiful indeed.
It's a pity that no photo can show the outstanding size of the sequoias. They are realy amazing.
Maybe we can say that, to compare, that the "little" tree at left has a "normal" size.
I have also shots of this extraordinary place.
