During the winter months this arch is perfectly aligned to allow for the sun to shine through. On this day I was lucky enough to get a pretty decent sun star through the arch as well. I hope you enjoy. Happy Holidays to all!

Really beautiful capture, the beams of light from the sun are perfect, and the effect on the water is beautiful. Love that sky as well, with its warm and subtle colours.

Hi Mike,

This photo really grabs your attention. You obviously worked out when and where to go to get this photo. The long exposure gives a soft silky feel to the water, and the rocks in the foreground really add to the elements of the composition. Nice colors in the sky too.
