Photographer's Note
Nine frame panoramic shot at 5:30 in the morning from North Island in San Diego. The image is a little grainy (asa 100, Low light, time exposure) but I wanted to leave it in because I like the texture. The original is 80mb so this loses some in the rendering. I used level adjustments with each frame to help with the changing light and the normal masking. I ended up with 21 layers but the color is all original.

Hi Craig. Great panorama despite the slight graininess. The picture is excellent. Going from 80mb to TE standards will of course affect what we see, but I love it, and look forward to seeing more of your work!

great scene and good detail (even though you had to reduce the Mb's). Love the lights, the reflexions in the water and the sky.

Great panorama shot! I love the colours and the composition. Amazing light and I love the way the long exposure make the water look like mist.
magical!

This panoramic is so huge, I do not find any word to give you my feeling. Every items on this picture is incredible : your work, the technical data, etc...One question, if you allow it : how do you manage the time exposure, I mean how can you do this and having the clouds so "immovable"?

The panoramic veiw is truly amazing. The colors are just perfect, and the haze on the water conveys the early morning feeling and atmosphere. Excellent.

Wow, I missed this one, Craig. It's really stunning. The color setting is one of a kind, and I like how 60% show the skyline, and the 40% on the right are occupied by the bridge. Beautiful reflections, and it looks like you got lucky on the clouds not moving a lot while you worked on this. As in all of your panoramas, the stitching job is impeccably handled. Congrats - getting up early for this one surely was worth it. Added favorite.

Now, this is how you combine a sunrise, a cityscape with a landscape and return a beautiful and attractive panorama. Excellent work Craig, and that also counts for your post processing work!

Wow! I love those shots! This one is so clean. The reflection of the buildings over water is so unreal. Amazing!

Everything is perfect, colour balance, contrast level, stitching quality, horizon adjustment (reflections are the important indicators), compositioning and especially photoshop work!
A suggestion please try auto level over your final render (possibly you did), it will increase the contrast in the sky on the left and improve the colours of blue and lily as well.
The only problem is the level of grain.

Hello Craig,
Excellent twilight scene of San Diego skyline viewed across the harbor from maybe Shelter Island?
I believe it may be sunset rather than sunrise due to the posiiton of the sun glow from the west?
