Photographer's Note
One day together with "efimoore" we decided to make few shots in Portalnd's downtown at night, in our way to get there we stopped in one of the hills with an excelent view over the downtown, the problem was that all the view was blocked by houses and it was very frustrating, suddenly we found a house under construction where no one is living there yet, but still it was a problem since the good spot where in the backyard and only climbing to scaffolding we were able to see the entire city. So we decide that for a good shot it worth to take the risk of being caught or even failing down.
I hope you like the picture (come on, was hard to get it ;-) )
To get better colors and more details I used a Circular polarizer and a slower shutter speed of 10 sec. the F/stop = 4.5
Really minor work was done in PS and used NI to cleanup the Noise

You did a great job with this night shot. Good control over your exposure and noise, which I see very little of. Yes thanks for risking your neck for this shot, it was worth it!

Nice try. You got a good picture. Where is the Mt. Hood? Portland's downtown is much beautier with the mountain?

I live in corsica (excuse my english !) and I have some family at Portland . So I am very happy to see this town from another point of view . I found your photo very beautiful , especially because it is not already the dark night . I hope to come one day to see your place .
