Winter Pine, a photo from Washington, West

Photographer's Note

Here, in the Pacific Northwest, we don't get extreme weather very often. Last January we had a few inches of snow, then freezing rain that turned everything into ice.

This is my White Pine tree, with every needle encased in a solid coating of ice. It was treacherous just walking down my steps and across my yard to take this photo, but I'm glad I did!

I suppose the tree not to be affected of the ice.
