Sunset behind Seattle Skyline with the Olympic mountains forming the perfect backdrop. The shot was taken (on summer solstice day) from the New Castle Golf Course near Bellevue. A championship golf course carved into the hill side and rises to a height of about 1400 ft. One gets a panoramic view of the Puget Sound, the Olympics, and the Cascades and the entire greater Seattle area from this spot. On a good day visibility can be 100+ miles and the views spectacular.
