Photographer's Note

What you see here is the Las Vegas Strip taken from the top of the Eiffel Tower observation deck.

This is approx only 1/4 of the entire Vegas Strip, located on Las Vegas Blvd.

So you can imagine how long the entire strip is, and the mistake first time visitors make of 'oh, were just going to walk all the way'
The view that you see, takes about 35 min to walk, nonstop - from Paris to Mandalay Bay in the background ( the tall yellow/gold hotel )
Not only is it a long walk, but in the summer it reaches 110 degrees, with no breeze. First time visitors learn quickly to bring lots of sunblock, and soft comfortable walking/running shoes.

Can you spot the rest of the Hotels?
Luxor (black Triangular building) is located before, and beside Mandalay Bay.
Then you can see the castles of Excalibur.
Followed by NewYork NewYork and Monte Carlo at street level.
They are dwarfed by the newly constructed City Centre...all the tall highrises with yellow, blue and silver colours on the right in the foreground.
The MGM marquee can be seen at left, in the background.

This is simply a taste of the strip, but it hopefully gives you a good sense as to how large is it.
Perfect example would be the small size of the Statue of Liberty at NewYork New York in this photo. Its almost 200 feet tall, but you can hardly even notice its existance from this vantage point.

Hope you like this view
Have a memorable New Years Celebration!
Cheers
Craig
