This photo was taken in color but the result turned out to be black and white in this blizzard conditions. The fire hydrant was practically burried in the snow.

interesting photo
though its difficult to balance the colours when shooting in snow
A slightly different angle on the lamp post would have created more balance on the shot maybe a move to the right with the inclusion of the rest of the mailbox whilst taking the post to the left of the composition.
This would have resulted in a better framing
