Photographer's Note
Another example of Philadelphia street art, this one from the side of a block of row houses near the South St. Bridge. This particular mural incorporates elements of mosaic in the forms of the person and the basket - a closeup is posted to the workshop.
The title here, by the way, is lifted from a Bruce Springsteen song of the same name.

Hello Andrew,
This is a very fine example of Trompe-l'œil and you have caught it perfectly here with only the flower pots and the traffic signs being in the "real" world.
Lovely colours, perfect exposure and excellent details and sharpness.
Brilliant!
Kind Regards,
John.

Hi Andrew,
Absolutely love this fresco!!!
Well captured image colours & excellent chosen perspective - what I do like is the No stopping sign on the right.
Kind regards,

Hi dear Andrew
A wondeful street art. So lovely pastel color touch. That sounds so nice for you to be in the artstic town. Best suitable to see on Sunaday. Thank you for your sharing with nice work and have a good Sunday evening!

Hi Andrew
What a surprise, a fascinating and eyecatching wall which has been painted with gorgeous mural such as this. Excellent perspective and orientation with a little something else on the fg to convey the scale and reality. It certainly is a super piece of artwork with 3D feel as it has depth in it. An amazing piece of mural with some stunning colors which adds life to the street. Wonderful shot and very informative notes. Congrats
Best regards

Hi ANdrew
i'm always a big fan of these wall murals. I don't think the get enough appreciation on TE.
its full of color, and also culture - which is what TE is all about.
Also, the tite streets of philadelphia caught my attention as "THE BOSS" is my all time favorite artist, I admire his song writing and music so much. Been a huge fan all my life.
I wonder what you'll post in the state of Washington in your Map Quest!
enjoy your day

Hi Andrew,
Great shot of the mural. The depiction is really quiet realistic with teh 3D effect of the shadow and light, especially of the boy and the bike. It seems he could step out of the painting and took the bicycle and disappear into the "Street of Philadelphia" This bring to mind the song by Bruce Springsteen...
the WS is a good addition and details shot to the overall veiw of the main post.
