Photographer's Note
Morro Rock is a 581-foot (177 m) volcanic plug located just offshore from Morro Bay, California, at the entrance to Morro Bay Harbor. A causeway connects it with the shore, effectively making it a tied island. The area surrounding the base of Morro Rock can be visited. The rock is protected as the Morro Rock State Preserve. Climbing on the rock or disturbing the bird life is forbidden by law. (From Wikipedia)

My first thought was: The Lord of the Rings, such a mysterious and magical rock, nice, nearly ideal reflection, very good POV

Hello Eleu,
beautiful, but I think less known part of Califarnia(at least here on TE I扉e never seen a picture from this place).It愀 just like wrote Ryszard in his comment-it has really something mysterious and magig in itself.Maybe because of the color scheme of the image, which is in my opinion very atmospheric(sometimes such subdued colors are really great)
Have a good day

Hello Eleu,
That really looks like ice in the middle of the photo, but I realize there is no ice in California (outside the bars). The gentle waves anyway make a fine pattern on the surface and the reflection of the remarkably shaped rock is very attractive.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hi,
this definitely is a great subject but I would come back at blue hour or sunrise depending on orientation to have a better light.

Howdy Eleu,
Good overcast view of Morro Rock, detailing its geological textures and low tide mirror image; very atmospheric.
Morro Bay is also interesting for its fishing boats and surrounding countryside.
Congratulations,
Sincerely,
Ray

Hi Eleu,
Looks as some giant threw his big hat on shore...
It's rock formation looks as no relevance to the beach scenery, as you wrote a volcanic-plug posted.
Nicer taen from the POV chosen, wet sand reflect.
Have a nice Friday,
Ike

Hello Eleu,
A nice capture of this rock with it's reflection on the water. Good details of the rock formation and I like the water coming on the beach with the birds. I doubt you can make this rock fly.
Best regards
Jacques
