Photographer's Note
I really liked the old-timey sign on Berlin's clothing; I'm pretty sure this store has been there for a while. Charleston had several stores with old signs, some of which bore no resemblance to the current occupant of the building.

Hi roger,
Not only the sign, but the entire scene has a vintage appeal, and is something that could very well be worked up as a painting or sketch from the 50's & 60's. I bet this would also be very classic in a black & white scheme, but I really do enjoy the colors within this framework. The soft glow of neon and heavy contrast also give this a hint of mystery...makes me wonder what, or who might be rounding the corner any moment now on this quiet city street...a spy perhaps?? All the way to Berlin via S. Carolina. :) A really neat shot! Enjoy the rest of your evening. Take good care.
Friendly wishes,
Jason

Hi Roger
Nostalgic old sign, you made it look older!! A cracker of a bold sign and a carefully-thought-out composition. That's a lovely corner you've found there, not just the sign but its surrounding cool environment works extremely well, a striking night shot on light, colours and view point. A really pleasant image subtly exposed with the glowing colours grab the eye. You have turned this to be a great photo and it makes me warmer just looking at it. Extremely stunning shot, Congrats
Best regards

Hello Roger,
This is a mysterious looking corner of the town. The old sign has added a nice old world charm to the image. The clothes on display do not look too modern as well. An atmospheric night shot, I like it! Thanks for sharing.
Regards,
Subho

Ciao Roger
una scena simpatica estratta con perizia dal buio della notte.
Il contrasto tra la vetrina, la stessa insegna colorata e l'edificio che fa da sfondo è l'essenza stessa della foto soprattutto per il bel gioco di luci e di ombre.
Ulteriore elemento a favore i riflessi sull'asfalto.
Molto ben fatta la composizione e ottima la gestione della luce.
Ciao e buona serata

Hi Roger
out of your newest shots, i had to pick this one because of the illumination and stark contrasts of black and colors.
these are the type of photos that often get ignored, or people just don't take the time to capture them, so i'm glad you did.
love the light, how the colorful clothing stands out, and yes that sign is pretty cool too :)
PS
Excited to see Baseball back!
looking forward to a Washington/Boston World Series!

Hi Roger
Good capture of the old neon signs and street lights in this superb nocturnal shot with excellent sharpness and good framing and composition. I like the reflection in the puddle at right. The brightly illuminated shop front window with dressed mannequins add interest. Tfs!

Hello Roger,
This is a very atmospheric night time shot. A super neon sign that balances well with the lit shop windows. The wet pavement adds to the overall effect.
Very well taken.
Kind Regards, Ann
