Hello Dawn,
this is a very fine shot,full of drama and interest,your choice of shutter settings has shown the movement and power of the water perfectly.
Your composition also works very well with good use being made of the diagonal corners to show the water`s flow.
Great shot of a fabulous location.

wonderful capture and I agree with Les about the shutter speed which has brought out the fine details of the flowing water giving it great dynamism. The beautiful contour of the bridge in the background frames the picture beautifully. Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend.

Standing alongside the mighty waterfall, one can really feel the power of nature, and how we, people are only small characters on this play...
Combined great view from the gushing stream, towards the bridge and further to the canadian side forest along.

Hello Dawn!

What an interesting and lively picture! I have seen many pictures of the Niagara Falls, but this perspective is new to me. You can almost smell the higher oxygen content of the massive quantities of water fall down there.

An impressive clear picture with beautiful colors and an unusual perspective. Very well done!

In the area in Sweden where I live, we have a half year winter. I enjoy living here in the Nordic nature, but I do not really like snow. Soon the winter is over and then I will show new pictures that I have made. I'm definitely no snow and winter photographer. Definitely not a winter man.

Hello Dawn,
An unusual view on the falls but a very interesting one. The motion to be observed in the foreground waters that seem to be boiling away is fantastic; I like the light and colours as well. The crowds of people on the viewing platform offer an interesting counterpoint as well as a human touch. Well exposed with excellent light, colours and sharpness. Thanks for sharing.

Indeed these picture is real extraordinarily, with the fantastic bridge and watchtower.
You chose a very well angle, and a nice point of view with the river and a little bit misty atmosphere.

Hi Dawn,
How brilliant to see a new scene of this iconic place, I have never seen this angle before. And it reminded me instantly of thunderbirds, I have expect to see Thunderbird one rising from among the rushing water. That water creates such a sense of excitement and activity. Beautiful light and colors too.

Fantastic location, It must've been incredible to see in real life! showing the power and feel of the force from this natures wonder. Good colours, clarity and detail superbly focused on the primary interest - the amazing water drama and awesome to see the enormous quantity of water rushing over the edge, dropping down, pushed by relentless forces of the flow... terrific energy, terrific place. So great it looks like a picture from another planet, maybe by George Lucas. Breathtaking, well framed, with incredible elements, the people in the distance giving dimension to the picture, the wonderfully shaped bridge and platform, all very well framed. Congratulations!
