Photographer's Note
Arches National Park's Devil's Garden Trail, is certainly not connected to evil or bad spirits, but just the opposite - a geological wonderland trail as evident here.
In the background are the La Sal Sierra, Spanish for "Salt Mountains". The highest part of the La Sal Range spans 16 kilometers; highest point 3,877 meters above sea level.

Hi Ray,
That's a very impressive scene, the main focus on the sun scorch yellow stone peaks, but in the background the snow capped mountains. For me, I never really see either of these extremes so it's fascinating to see both in such clo proximity. To add to the sun and the snow, it looks those clouds might promise rain. Beautiful photo of a beautiful place.
Cheers
Noel

Wonderful shot ! The golden yellow of the eroding landscape has been stunningly highlighted. The rugged landscape has been well displayed.
The lovely snow capped mountains are a contrast to the wild, sunburned desert landscape in the foreground.
The clear sky with a few white clouds, make it a very romantic photograph for a traveler.
Thanks for sharing, Ray !

Hello Ray,
this view is fascinating, a vast area of great textures that shape up a magnificent, timeless formation. I like the row of rocks at the top and the even grander but distant mountains in the background. The cold backdrop makes great contrast, the light has given to the rocks a very lovely warm tone. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great day,
Ourania

Hello Ray,
This is a wonderful shot from an unbelievably beautiful part of the USA. The layers in the rock formations always make me marvel at the age of the area. The desert landscape even has snowy mountain peaks in the distance!
Very well taken and TFS.
Kind Regards, Ann
