Photographer's Note
A view of the Grand Canyon from a vista point near Lee's Ferry.
"Due to its unique geography, the only place in hundreds of miles from which one can easily access the Colorado River from both sides - it historically served as an important river crossing and starting in the mid-1800s was the site of a ferry operated by John Doyle Lee, for whom it is named. Boat services continued at Lees Ferry for over 60 years before being superseded by a bridge crossing in the early 20th century, which allowed for automobile travel...
Today Lees Ferry is a boat launching point for whitewater rafting trips through the Grand Canyon."

Hi, Ray,
Hmm, it looks like a mix of black&white background and colourful foreground. Or it is postprocessed photo?
I was on South Rim only and I don't know the real colors of the Canyon in different places. Anyway, this is wonderful place, incredible natural monument.
A few weeks ago I've posted a tribute to you and all railroadmen. Look it, please.
Best wishes,
Serghei
