Photographer's Note
This image of tent camping in the Grand Canyon's North Rim area is enhanced by autumn leaves, also summer crowds are gone with schools back in session.
Demotte campground is 5.3 miles north of the North Rim, Grand Canyon entrance. The drive from Lee's Ferry on the Colorado River is very interesting for 'geology photography' and landscaping - the Vermillion Cliffs area is rewarding.
There is also the Kaibab Resort nearby for those prefering comforts of lodging, and they have a good restaurant.

Hi Ray
I like the strong warm cold color contrast between the blue tent and the yellow Autumn foliage. The backlight has been well managed giving the leaves an almost translucent quality. Tfs.

hello Ray,
In such a weather, in nature it can be pleasant to spend the night in the tent. In Africa we had accomodation in campgrounds and I like it very much, but I am probably too old for it. very nice picture with well lit autumn trees. I think we also drove from Lee's Ferry to North Rim anbd it was interesting, but are there any uninteresting places in Arizona? all is fascinating.
