Photographer's Note
Finland, Minnesota, is a village located 6 miles inland from Lake Superior's North Shore. A large share of the early settlers being natives of Finland caused the name to be selected. Cooperative general store of Finland was established in 1913, which is Minnesota's longest continuously operated store. Mural on the wall represents the way of life in Northern Minnesota, including mosquitoes!
To be honest, that car is ours. I should have asked to move it a little.

Hello Kari,
It is always funny when you travel in the USA that you see so many European names. You immediately know from which country people have settled here.
For example, last year we drove past Rotterdam, NY.
I have not seen Finland in the USA before.
This sign clearly shows why the Finns feel at home here. Even the famous mosquitoes are there. 😉
Excellent presentation
Have a good weekend, groet Rob

Hello Kari,
Of course there should be a Finland in Minnesota. There is also a village called Stockholm. And of course you had to take a photo of this large painting, which also happens to be posted on a very nice gren wooden wall. Hopefully you won't regret the car for the rest of your life. ;-)
Have a nice weekend,
Gert

Hello Kari,
So there is Finland in the US, too! I once visited the town of Holland in Michigan. It's a really cool mural on the side of the store, celebrating the Finnish heritage of the town. Excellent photo!

Bonjour, Kari,
je découvre cette "grange" possédant une belle fresque représentant la région, et le bout de votre voiture qui n'obère pas la prise de vue.
Amusante et belle présentation générale.
Amitiés.

Hello Kari,
This is a lovely mural, and a bit of Minnesota history. It's nice to see the roots of a town. The green wall is attractive, too, and I don't mind the car that much. :-) The mosquitoes there must be a real problem if they're featured so prominently on this mural! :-)

Hello Kari,
Yes, it's kind of funny to see place names of other cities and countries in odd locations. There is a Denmark in Western Australia, a Sydney in Nova Scotia, a Melbourne in Florida and a Brisbane in San Francisco! Memphis Egypt also has a famous twin named city in Tennessee. And I have been to 4 Brighton Beaches! One in England, another in Turkey at Gallipoli, another in Brisbane and a 4th in Melbourne Au. Tfs! Good colour and sharpness and the climate seems similar to the real Finland! Tfs!

Hello Kari, Great mural showing Finland in Minnesota. The mosquitos are huge. Strange creatures under the shed. There are many Warsaws in the USA.
You could clone out the car quite easily.
Kind regards MAlgo

Of course you needed to visit this town!
I like the colorful mural, the context of the wooden green painted wall and the sky adds further colors.

Hello Kari,
Great to find this one so far from Finland! A very clear image with good colour and sharpness. The car doesn't bother me as it is placed coming in the corner on a diagonal.
Regards, Ann

Found your homeland in Minnesota, Kari...
Aside from the village name - the beautifully painted wall, if looking carefully, has a marvelous 3D effect, shows daily life from ancient era, and nature sceneries.
Good evening,
Ike
