interesting photograph.. can't comment much on the saturation bit because at the moment i'm at a cafe,, as my home connection is screwed up... and the monitor here is not caliberated at all.. so can't really make out what the actual colours are like..

i find this photograph restricted to be honest.. more like an advertising photograph for martini.. for it's just the glass of martini that you've focussed on with some peculiar lighting and all that.. so in a way it's an incomplete photograph (for me!!) since ideas keep coming to me head.. "oh this could be done.. and that and that.." and so on...
for example.. (a lot of bias in this since i'm a humanistic photographer) the bartender in the boken, or simply a handing reaching out into the frame for the glass would have taken up this photograph by several notches..
infact even if you look at it in terms of advertising.. today it seems advertising is all about good lighting and colours and you know... the rest of the superficialities.. but very few of them actually try and get to the emotions of the consumer in a more direct way.. in that context i think, and hand bit would have given the consumer a little more to relate to the photograph emotionally..

now coming to the tilt..
i'm under the impression that most people tilt to do away from the banalities of having everything sort of 'perfect'.. if that is true in general and more specifically in your case.. then don't you think giving the photograph such a 'perfect' tilt is in a way going back to the beginning???
