Photographer's Note
I was sitting on my couch reading one evening when I noticed that the night was particularly bright outside. I looked up and saw a full moon with absolutely no clouds in site. The moon was too bright to see any stars, but I thought the moon was gorgeous so I decided to grab my camera and try to shoot it.
By the time I got outside, I saw this interesting scene develop in front of my eyes -- mid-level clouds were rolling in FAST. At first I was disappointed, but when I took a few shots and looked at them later, I saw that my long exposure time caught the detailed movement of the clouds. Can you tell which way the clouds are moving? But what I find particularly interesting is the stillness of the trees (you can see the details branches in the background). It was an absolutely still night, but the windless streaks of clouds gave it such a nice atmosphere.

Hi Calvin,
this is a truly beautiful effect. I love what the long exposure has done here. Certainly worth experimenting. I would even be tempted to frame this and hang it from a wall of my bedroom. I think it is very astonishing. Your framing is really excellent and the composition pretty strong, at least in my opinion. in fact, it reminds of fairy tales...
Good work, even if nobody else has writen anything.
