Photographer's Note
I often walk past this tree that was planted in a courtyard off campus, but I usually found it rather unimpressive until just the other day. It was sprouting bright red berries with some yellow berry highlights. Although the color first caught my attention, I later realized that the shape of this tree was quite pleasant as well. It was framed perfectly by the courtyard -- it's a shame that cameras can't take 3D images and I didn't have a super-wide angle.
Besides the annoying barrel distortion coming from my cheap lens, I hope you're able to take home the beauty of this courtyard.

hey Calvin,
I understand exactly what you are talking about, because I also take notice of trees like this around our campus, or off campus, when running or walking. So, good idea to record a memory of this. However, I think the lighting and also your exposure could be better. For one thing, the tree color is basically a grey/dark shade, and so it doesn't really show the full glory of the pink color. Other than that, I think it's a good composition and well framed naturally. I did a workshop to brighten things up and of course it loses some quality. Anyway, take a look under workshop.
cheers friend!
