Photographer's Note
Here is another shot at the view with my previous tunnel view shot. I took this one with the Canon 20D and used the spot metering on my Pentax *ist Ds to measure the light. this picture was taken 22 minutes after the other one. I stitched this image with 9 shots in 3 rows, 3 images per row. I used Autostitch to stitched the files together. the software took almost 2 hrs to finished. the file output was 117 mb and everytime I use my image editing program, my computer crashes.
This image was process with one of my friend new computer. The maximum costco can print is 30X20 inches so I divided the image up and printed 9 images 30X20 each. this image is on my office wall at work right now.

Hello phuoc,
9 shots? Just to decorate your work wall? Incredible!
Nice light on the Capitain, nice foggy clouds coming out of the trees.

Phuoc, quel travail ! mais le résultat est extraordinaire. Cela fait penser à des peintures de paysagistes anglais et leurs lumières d'un autre monde. Bien fait !

This picture is stunning. It looks like a 18th century painting of Scottish landscape. That's the kind of picture I would also like to hang on my office wall!
Bravo

Very dramatic lighting and cloud formations make this a unique version of a very common POV. Excellent! Don

Phuoc I must say congrats to you for this photo. What a wonderful display of lighting in this tunnel. Its amazing to say the least. Please consider my workshop and see the difference in adding a little contrast. What this did was bring in a little more range of lighting from the darkest tones to the brightest. I really really like this display of wonderful light. Doing the workshop has been a real privilege. Thanks for sharing. Good work!

Hello Phuoc!
I might be the last person to give a comment, but my only excuse is that I’m a new member since only a couple of days...
I’ve look extensively through tons of photographs on TreakEarth and I think that there is so many people very talented on this site, but this particular image is jaw-dropping!!!!
My God! I can’t believe it! I’ve been there, maybe for an hour at most, because our bus from San Francisco had a major mechanical problem, but still, it was enough to know that I wanted to return there for a longer time.
But now that I see your work, I simply put it on top of my list as a prioritary trip. This is awesome Phuoc! According to the photo information, you’ve took this picture the day after Christmas... You probably have been a very nice kid for Santa offering you this gift from above! How many time in your life can you see this kind of thing happening, unless you’re a trooper in the park and live there all year long...
It was one thing to be there, but another to be able to catch it so nicely. You’re really talented! Even more, you’ve catch this amazing image with a 20D! I’m not being judgemental, because I also work with this camera, but I’m also aware of its limit. When you see this natural phenomenom coming in front of your eyes, you want to have a Canon EOS 1Ds MarkII to be able to make a billboard in high resolution out of it!!
I’ve definetly put your name on my favorite list!
Unbelievable work Phuoc! I’m forever jealous!!!
Amicalement!
André

Hi Phuoc:
Possibly the most beautiful image I've seen of Yosemite. I don't know what to say. The lighting and the mist are fabulous. Wonderful job.
