Photographer's Note
I decided to hike up Beacon Rock after work to start my "getting into shape" routine. It is a 1 mile straight up hike, and it took me 40 minutes, 10 minutes longer than usual. The views are wonderful however so I decided to try a panorama with the new program I have called "The Panorama Factory" so this is the first try with this new program.
From this Beacon Rock View you can see, Munra Point, and the western edge of the Benson Plateau, Hamilton Mountain on the left and the Bonneville Dam is just behind the tip of the green tree in the center.
I used 5 photos to stitch together in the program, it has a lot of "auto" settings, and I just let the program do it's thing. I did clone out some "shadows" created with the stitching process, I'll have to figure out how to do that, but I still liked this sweeping view from the top.

Lori. Great view and the program seems as though there is potential. I recently did one with 7 shots on a little Canon Ixus which has the facility on the camera. The out of fucus foreground is an unwanted element and one to work on with future images. You live in a very scenic area and I look forward to future efforts.
Regards Colin
