Photographer's Note

Taken at Sunset overlooking Lake Michigan in Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Sleeping Bear Dunes encompases 35 miles along Michigan's eastern shore and two small islands, North and South Manitou Islands. It is quite a beautiful place to visit.

Amber, I love that gold woven thru the oranges!
And the rich red along the horizon is fab!

Hi Amber,
very magnificent and warm capture. It looks in such a way that the whole water and sky with water color were painted in orang.
I like the sun. I need my sun glasses 8)

there are so many sunset pictures here .. but this one stands out .. I think it is the really wonderful and unusual orange - golden .. almost green palette ..

Wonderful golden stew with the many varying shades of gold adorning the sky and beautiful lake. The sun boring down on the lake is very impressive.
