John,
Nice wintery scene. I like the lighting and color. A higher f-stop would have yielded a better DOF. If you had used an f-stop around f/11-16 you would have had a much deeper focus area. The slower shutter speed would also help with color saturation.
This is still a very nice photo.

Hallo John!
This picture once more captivates Middle European eyes because of the wonderful snow. Not a single flake is to be seen here. I like the snowy grey sky here and the colour of the rocks is fascinating surrounded by the snow. I must admit, I'm a bit envious...;-) Nevertheless, thank you for showing!
And - once more, Merry Christmas!

Hi John,
Beautiful winter scene with sharp greens and different shades of brown. The bare spots in the mountains and fence blend very well with the snow.
Happy Holidays

Bonjour John,
Daniel.

Hi John!
In this the sky did not help! hehe, but the snow in the pantries of the trees is interesting! I also liked the fence too!
Congratulations my friend!

Very nice, John--I like the fact the fence matches the rocks in color. The light is really good with a little sun on the foreground but gray sky up above. My only suggestion would be to crop the sky a little because it's just gray and blank. Merry Christmas! Regards, Ken.

Hi John, a nice contrast between the rock and trees and the snow, is that sandstone?.
I think considering you had to take it in a hurry that you did a realy good job, good POV DOF and composition.
Cheers

Hello John -
Very nice image! I like the layering that you developed in this composition, fence, trees, rock ridge, rocky pinnacles, tree lined ridge. This is a pleasing composition that is well exposed, nice POV, white snow, and is sharp. Well done!
Thank you for sharing
John
P.S. More snow due tonight according to Channel 4.

Love the sharpness and colors in this shot. Good minimal sky coverage and a nice choice of using the fencing too.
