Photographer's Note
The change happens. I wandered a little off course this past weekend; spent a little time in a neighborhood that didn't quite feel comfortable. Goes to show that the real city is hiding beneath, and my scratching of the surface really doesn't begin to show the true lands beyond my limited exposure.
I may have decided it is time to move to the city...of course I can't afford that, but...my intention is to live in a city at some point.
I don't feel comfortable anywhere else.
Chris

Yes. Everything in the city gets a little bit more gritty. Things that were unseen and unheard of start becoming reality. This is reality. Right here in this photo. Nice parts of the city don't even show the real parts of any city. By you venturing into unknown territory you've come back with a superb photo. The guy is tired of street life, and it's evident. The details are amazing. Reflection in the window, grime on the sill. I'm new to BW Chris, but to me this is perfection.
Take care,
Brian

Soon.......
Soon,everything will change,
lets hope for the better.
Resting,taking a breather,
coming from the pharmacy,
The heavy bag at my feet,
my medication for the month,
to keep me going
a little farther, a step at a time,
one more time....Time to go.
When a photo inspire me a little bit of poesy,
it means that it touches me in my hearth,
always a good thing
Take care Chris

Hi,
An air of hopelessness. I can imagine sitting like that getting tired just from the heat and the sunglare from concrete and glass. I've lived in cities and they're fine for a wee while. Now my nearest neighbour is about a mile away. I'm still drawn to wander the streets sometimes and it would be nice to have a friendly bar close by but here is better. Each to his own. Thanks.
Dougie.

soon what, the end, or nothing, what an incredible photo, his body language and expression is superb, I really don't think there is any future for him, and actually just by looking at the photo I am getting depressed.
Textures of the film are fantastic, great work.

Soon come.......soon go............great black and white - the contrast couldn't be stronger in tone and with those dreamlike reflected cars in the window - they are in a looking glass world that somewhow seems miles away ........a great note!

I wish the top bit of the Soon were not clipped off, but strong overall...
