Photographer's Note

another image from the same place as my previous post. This one was capture about 45 minutes later. This one is also capture with 2 image and stitched together to create this image.
about 20 photographers was there that day to capture this wonderful view as the lighting changing from good to amazing. the weather here is also unpredictable. when we got here the sky was clear, about an hour later cloud started to accumulate to gave us a spectacular sunset.

It is wonderful to have such a great subject to capture through the lens. But it is even greater to have a photographer like you who can capture that image in such a magnificent way.

This one is better than the previous i hadn't saw (forgive me, it was already excellent). Sunset colors are higher than the previous and more warm, cloud covering El Capitan is enlight too, and reflection on Merced river. I'm jalous to don't get a so amazing sunset when i was there, but happy you did it. Have a good day

Stunning shot! It puts my recent post of the same location to shame! I especially like the sun breaking through the clouds and catching El Capitan and the peaks opposite. All finished off by a perfect reflection. I'm very jealous!

Stunning is an understatement. Exposure, contrast, and saturation are technically excellent. The balance in the sky and water reflections could not be better. Shadow blockup is well controlled. The moment was perfectly captured considering the low shutter speed and absence of water ripple. This is a classic digital photograph. Thanks!
