Beach Sand, a photo from Oregon, West

Photographer's Note

This was taken at Cannon Beach on the Pacific coast of Oregon. I was amazed by the patterns that the wind and the water left on the beach. These patterns were everywhere.

This was originally a color picture, but i withdrew the color information and increased the contrast slightly. If you enjoy this shot of Cannon Beach you should check out my others from the West Coast beaches.

Very good graphism. I agree with your conversion to BW though I am a little curious to see how this had looked originally in color.

The repetition of pattern makes the picture very attractive and even curious I would say...
Simple and effective.
