Photographer's Note
Location: Montauk Point, Long Island, New York
Each autumn season the striped bass make their way along the East Coast following the warmer water south.
The action is tremendous, with fish upward of 40 pounds.
When the full moon rises, forcing the tides to become even more extreme, the fishing is nothing short of phenomenal.

Good morning Jorge,
Splendid this picture. The effect of the water is fantastic. The lonely fisherman so far is extremely interesting.

Jorge: Wow! What a picture. The fluidity of the water is just out of this world. It creates a heavenly sensation in which all fishermen would like to see themselves. Dreamy, removed, far out!
Congratulations, I am adding it to my favourites.

Rafael

Hi Jorge,
Love this one with the dream mist surrounding the lone fisherman as he tries his luck in the murky sea.
Strip Bass are one of my favorite taste treats from the sea.

stunning photo, Jorge, the smoke-like water creates a beautiful dream-like effect, I like it a lot. the fisherman is just the righ accent in just the right place, and the smart use of wide angle adds depth to the scene. excellent work, my compliments.

Hi Jorge,
For some reason I almost overlooked this one... unjustly though. It's an awesome shot, almost unreal. That guy looks like a statue and it's a great contrast to the movement of the water.
Great job, thanks for sharing (and for your nice comments on my latest photos, of course - I greatly appreciate them!).
Ciao,
Claudia

Jorge,
I remember when you posted this picture last year! It's one of my favorite pic here.
The mood is amazing. I like the strong and soft veins of water feeding the fisherman.
The rocks look like they're hanging, floating in the water, as if they were lightier than water.
I guess this picture has been unfairly overlooked by many because it does not have flashy oversaturated colors. But in fact, this one is just perfectly balanced to fit the theme of the subject.
best regards,
Marc
