Photographer's Note

This is a homestead in the country town of The Rock, in southern New South Wales. I happened across it because the street it's in is where my father spent a few years living as a child, and since we were driving reasonably close to that vicinity on the way to Melbourne, we decided a stop at The Rock was in order. My eye was particularly drawn to the symmetry of this house and the washing hanging on the front porch... and of course, the dog, who was very friendly :)
