Lichens are stable, self-supporting associations between fungi and photobionts, The simplest form of lichen is a crust on the surface

The orange of the lichens really contrasts well with the blue of the sea and sky to give a very pleasing composition. And I love the various textures and shapes of the rocks. Very nice

Une autre tr鋊 belle photo Toni, cette algue doit 皻re la m瘱e que celle des Remarkable Rocks sur Kangaroo Island bien que sur mes photos elle paraisse moins orang嶪, peut-皻re as-tu plus am幨ior� le contraste mais je crois aussi que la couleur differt selon la p廨iode de l'ann嶪.

La couleur ocre de ces rochers est fabuleuse tout comme leur texture. Par ailleurs, la composition est excellente. Tr鋊 bien vu, Toni!

Another beautiful Tasmanian photo, Toni! Excellent texture and colour of the foreground rocks, versus the deep blue of the sea and sky. The rocks in the middle-distance look volcanic and almost flowing. Thank you for sharing your photo.

powerfull colours, good POV and crop.
I like the clouds and the milky sky. They support the effect of the rockformation and colour of the lichens.

I like these vivid colours - it's amazing what nature can do. I like your composition also. I was looking at whether it would be more balanced if it was cropped a little on the right, but it looks good the way it is. Well done.

Hi Toni plus je regarde tes photos, plus j'ai envie de conna褾re l'Australie -
Celle ci est dans les meilleures (mais elles sont toutes bonnes) avec cette nettet� incroyable des rochers et les couleurs ocres de la roche.
C'est fabuleux

Really a dramatic AND colorful coastline. The Light blue heven with the crisp clouds combined with the dark deep blue sea is great together, but you added those lovely orange rocks and made the shot perfect.

une tr鋊 bonne profondeur de champ ici, j'aime beaucoup ce premier plan rouge. La nettet� est bonne et le cadrage bien pens�. Le ciel 彋ait d幨icat � rendre, mais tu t'en sors bien. Bravo !

Hi Toni,
as in almost all photos from Australia in your album, this place is amazing!
And as consequence the photo is a plasure to view!!
Even if the shadows are a little bit too 'closed' (but can be an effect of my monitor) the rocks are costantly the centre of attention.
