Photographer's Note
We do not get much time to post photo's of late, too much travel ! This photo was taken on the rim walk around the Kings Canyon in NT. Both Gail and myself agree this is one of the best walks we have done, the changes in the surroundings are constant, and every corner was a panoramic view, that took the breath away. We did not see many people this day just the odd photographer moving around the canyon, but this lady on the rim going about her work trying to use the tree as a frame caught my eye. I think the colour of the shirt and tag with the sky seem to blend, and she did not look out of place. I think it gives the photo depth with the canyon face ahead, as I said I do not use subjects in photos very often, but this one stood out. Will post more when time permits, hope you like it.
Regards Mike n Gail.

Gidday Mike & Gail,
What an interesting note and what a fine photograph with which to illustrate it. Mind you, I don't think I'd fancy being that lady photographer with you standing behind me - just a quick shove from you and she'd be over the edge!
Seriously though, the composition is very fine and I agree that the lady's blue top (and the additional blue tag on her equipment bag) do add a nice plash of contrasting colur to the reds and greens of the landscape. Also, the lady and her camera are pointing along the strong diagonal line of the edge of the canyon and carry our eyes well into the picture, beneath the tree and to the opposite wall of the canyon.
Lovely colours, perfect exposure and stunning sharpness and detail.
Excellent!
Kind Regards,
John.

Hello Mike and Gail,
I've in my life not much seen, alone lovely pictures of other photographers, about splendid country very far of my home.
My country where I live is so plat as a pool table, no rocks or mountains.
I am no traveller I am not rich but certainly happy, but also to old for vacation far of my home.
You took a very nice picture with the lady in foreground this gives a extra touch to the picture.
Very well done, TFS.
Have a nice Sunday,
John.
