Photographer's Note

This is an overview of Pennington Bay, in Kangaroo Island, South Australia.

I went there without knowing what to expect, and ended up swimming with the dolphins and photographing the possums...

So, it brings me back lots of memories...

Increased the contrast and reduced the brightness and that愀 all... that and the rubber duckie :D

Commentz plz!... even if just to say you don't like it ;-P

colours in this one are just beautiful, almost surreal. If anything i might like to see a little less blue sky, jst for the sake of ba;ance. well done though.

I love Kangaroo Island and this shot shows off the beautiful sea and the rugged coastline. The sharpness is very good and the blue so deep. Great contrast too. The horizon is right in the middle though so yes a little less blue sky would give more balance. I've shown you this in a WS.

Great colours and sharpness in this view, Rui. I'd agree with others that placement of the horizon off the image's midline might strengthen it compositionally. Very well done, and thanks for sharing it!

I like it very much, very good contrast, great colours and POV, I like the sky just the way you have it, if there had been no clouds then I might have croped it but because there is the clouds then I feel you got it spot on Well done

Hello Rui ... many years ago I was here. Feels good that it is still as beautiful and unspoilt as I had it on my mind. Great strong colors, very sharp. Shows well the rugged coastline. Super nice. All the best from Zurich, Barbara.
