Photographer's Note
Seems all the trendy cities have them so why not Perth?
Our wheel is sitting on the Swan River foreshore next to the Bell Tower (pix elsewhere on this site). It stands 50m high and can carry 284 passengers in 36 capsules. Australians will recognise the trees, locals will recognise the building bottom right.
The Perth Wheel opened 23 January 2009 (hey, that’s the day I took this pic!)

Hi Austin,
Very nicely done on this shot looking up, The Ferris wheel against the blue sky is wonderful along with trees in this photo. Great details and great colors in this shot. Great job Austin.
Best regards
Jason.

Wow, you did not waste any time to get a TE first of this newest wheel. Good on you!!!
Your POV is excellent and the polariser made the rest. It is a very nice shot where the Bank West building adds to the context. Well done.
Antonio
PS. I have two photos of the Melbourne wheel here on TE.
