Photographer's Note
here i am back at parliament house in canberra.
breaking away from tour groups can be beneficial, even for ten seconds. while on a school tour, i left my students with the other supervisors and ducked around a corner. there was a very large window in front of which there seemed to be quite a bit of traffic. i thought i would try to use the highly polished floors to some use. this was the pick of the bunch. i seem to have a thing for silhouettes lately. but that's cool.

I really like this photo Craig,
The shadows, deep blacks, light, lines, reflections and the person walking towards darkness are creating very good graphic coherence.
Compliments and best wishes,

Hello Craig, BW is very effective here, I doubt if it would have the same effect without the silhouette. The highly polished floor gives excellent reflections. Well composed with good tones.
Thanks

Ciao dear Craig,
an interesting image, rich of photographic motives. Excellent the choice of the B&W, with which you have marvelously played with the lights and the shades. The reflex of the person increases the pleasant feeling of the movement, in contrast with the square geometries. A composition that is a pleasant intersection of lines and horizontal, vertical and oblique forms, emphasized by the contrasts of light. Excellent photo, dear friend, compliments!
Have the best new year! :-)

Hello Craig,
This picture caught my attention in your portfolio. A lovely graphic b/w image with several geometrical shapes. The silhouette and the shadow are just perfectly positioned. Great picture. I remember visiting parliament house 20 years ago!

Hello Craig
I like very much this B&W post, where the human silhouettte and his reflection on the floor adds a human touch to the staright lines of the building.

Hi Craig,
I see good division of space which are interesting and filled with graphic charms. I also admired the wait for the moving figure to come to the correct intended place. The reflections on the floor provided soothing visual echoes which make this composition attractive. Well done!!
Thanks and best regards.

Hi Craig
I was about to say that Korkut would have loved this shot, when I saw that the first crtq was indeed his! Good timing & like the shades of grey. Like the diagonal outside the window. Good work!
