Photographer's Note
Up until now we've been able to go for drives under the Covid 19 restrictions. That has now stopped.
Last week and the week before we went for drives out to isolated areas in our region - places where there was no danger of social contact.
The first drive was out to the Wollondilly River passing the isolated farming district of Bullio, another new location for TE. Along the way we passed some of the fire ravaged areas so in response to Craig and others here is a photo from the edge of the fires.
You can see burnt patches of trees along the hill side. As well as that there is a farm house that survived.
The rains that put out the fires have resulted in massive pasture growth and full dams which provide a contrast to the burnt areas.
The detail is much better in the large view.

Hi Ian, so green, hard to imagine it burning. Melbourne has been pretty green all summer this year as we had a wet, cool, summer. The photo shows well the deep greens and the dam is well placed in the frame. Cheers, steve

Hello Ian,
We can see here the fire ravages. But also the wonderful greenery if the meadows after heavy rainfalls, i suppose. je
Very interesting view.

Pozdarv.
Lep pogled, interesantan tekst ...
Lepo zeleno polje i drvece, lepa priroda.
Priroda se oponavlja od pozara i vraca svoj lep izgled.
Lepo pokazano, dobro uhvacen trenutak.
Kod nas je bas opasno, od strasnog virusa,ja ne izlazim iz stana, postujem karantin.
Zelim vam sve najbolje.
Paja.

Nice view, interesting text ...
Beautiful green field and trees, beautiful nature.
Nature recovers from the fire and returns to its beautiful appearance.
Beautifully shown, well captured moment.
It is very dangerous for us, from a terrible virus, I do not leave the apartment, I respect quarantine.
I wish you all the best.

Hi Ian
as i've said before, its funny how there's so little reporting now about the fires...its as if it's never happened. Good to hear about the rains - finally. I just read online, that approx 2500 homes have been lost in the most populous state.
Its been a horrible year. Keep safe, and lets hope you can get out there soon and take more shots like this :) cheers

Hello Ian,
You chose a perfect angle with hills of the mountain in background, with again green grass between the dry trees.
Also a nice panorama view in background.
Nice sharp and clear presented.
Very well presentation, TFS.
Best regards,
John.

Hello Ian,
It is good that we see much more bright green fields than burnt areas, a hopeful view that things get better even after the worst of crises. Still the fire damage looks very sad also. Well captured.

Hello Ian, Terrific view when we look at it in the large format. The trees are still burnt but the grass has recovered. Nice hill. Also in Poland the restrictions are severe, no entrance to the parks or forests. Does it help to stop the virus? No one knows anything for sure, one day they advise something, and the next day there is a quite different opinion. Even on the WHO sites.
Take care

Hello Ian,
It is good to see nature is reclaiming the damage. 👍🏻👍🏻 I hope Australia is coping well with CV-19.
Stay safe,
