Photographer's Note

The city of Hobart is especially known for being the arriving port of the annual Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race. This photo was taken a couple of days after the yachts arrived. It is also a town of historical significance in Australia being the second oldest capital after Sydney. This can be seen by the historical buildings in the background.

Tr鋊 belle photo Nikki !
Les couleurs sont dynamiques et ressortent bien. Le ciel avec ces quelques nuages donne de la profondeur. J'aime beaucoup les bou嶪s du premier plan. Tr鋊 bien vu

What a most clear and colorful photo of this lovely town. When we were there years ago we had nasty weather but were lucky seeing all the yachts coming in after the race, some in pretty bad shape. Thanks for showing.

LA photo couleur par excellence!on est au max de la saturation,l'image s'y prete bien je pense,l'ambiance portuaire est presente avec ses bou廥 et les cables,qui a dit que l'argentique etait mort?

Une vue qui parait un peu bouchee par les elemens au premier abord, mais c'est une bonne illustration de l'ambiance un peu foillis qu'on trouve dans beaucoup de ports, les couleurs sont top, le scan excellent et les nuages superbes.

Au premier plan on a plein de d彋ails. On se perds un peu au d嶵ut. L'arri鋨e plan comme tu as soulign� dans ton commentaire nous rappelle qu'on est dans une ville historique.
... Et tout 蓷 avec un ciel bleu magnifique.

Wow, the colors in this one are quite the stunner, Nikki. Considering the amount of foreground devices and elements, the photo works remarkably well and the view towards the marina-side row of buildings doesn't feel obscured at all. Very warm and inviting-looking, and a good scanning quality you got.

Good use of the foreground maritime and colourful details. Also interesting to see this place, looking very "European" with the architechture of the houses in the back. Creative, interesting compo.

Great shot! I like the vibrant colours and details in your shot. The POV is superb with the different shapes and vertical and diagonal lines in the foreground, and the historical buildings in the background. The clouds are lovely too making the shot even more dynamic. Good composition and depth. Well done!
