Wineglass bay, a photo from Tasmania, East

Photographer's Note

The trek up to the summit of Mt Amos is tough (with a small child on my back and my camera bag in front) as it is very steep but thankfully not too long. This shot of Wineglass bay (you can see how it got it's name) was taken on the way.

Le trek jusqu𠿟u sommet du Mt Amos est assez dur (avec un petit enfant sur mon dos et mon sac de photo devant) car il est tr鋊 raide mais heureusement pas trop long. Cette image de Wineglass Bay (en forme d𠌊n verre � vin) a 彋ait prise en route.

Une image qui a 彋� assez difficile a scanner, et trouver le bon 廦uilibre entre le grain (g幯廨� par le scan Film iso 100) et la perte de d彋ails lors du passage a neat image. Mais parfois on ne peut pas tout avoir

Hi Toni,
This is a splendid wild nature approach view from a high point with a beautiful bay and beach at distance in a great enquadrement view and composition. Excelent light, colors and a splendid DOF and great depth. The blue sky with some withe clouds and the also blus sea is a simphony contrast to this scenery of greens and brown ground land. Clear picture and a great work. I like Landscapes!

Jolie cette vue depuis la mont嶪.
Les nuages sont un peu trop blancs � mon gout, mais je vois que tu as eu des difficult廥 en num廨isant.

Bonjour Toni,
Cette fois c'est le paysage qui est plus joli que le ciel et c'est rare dans tes photos.
La beaut� du sauvage, du vierge.
Ici, on est en pleine nature, calme ou hostile, surprenante, inqui彋ante la nuit.
Les couleurs sont fortes, intenses, d幨icieusement satur嶪s.
Tu as bien choisi l'endroit pour prendre cette photo.

Jolie courbe qui nous entraine jusqu'� la mer. C'est une superbe prise de vue, avec un tr鋊 joli ton de v嶲彋ation. Tr鋊 difficile la num廨isation je trouve et l� tu t'en es bien sorti .

I like the great sweeping curve of the mountain as it leads down and then around the bay. The sense of depth in this shot is very good. I also like the wild sky, which adds a lot to the scene. Well done!

Ah ces vieilles diapos que l'on a du mal � scanner pour obtenir le r廥ultat parfait! Dommage pour les nuages un peu cram廥, mais je connais trop bine le probl鋗e...
Sinon, la compo est belle avec cette versure tr鋊 dense � perte de vue et cette plage de sable blanc qui vient se nicher au fond de la baie. Un bon POV en plong嶪 et de belles couleurs!

Dommage, Toni, que le scan ne rende pas la photo dans son 彋at d'origine. La composition est bonne et les couleurs aussi. Le ciel est la v廨itable victime du scan.

An interesting view of this fascinating landscape from up the mountain. A little resolution lost in the scanning, but the integrity overall has been maintained. I like the depth perception gained from this height and the lure of the sandy beach below. Well captured.

Amazing shot with a stunning view over the Bay. I like how you included the hillside on the right side of the photo and the colourful foreground. The colours are amazing and I also love the sky. Great composition with lots of detail and good sharpness!

Comme tu as d� souffrir en portant autant de kilos, plus que Bibi ;-).
En tout cas la pause en valait la peine. J'aime beaucoup ces gros rochers sur la gauche et la couleur de la baie. Belle nettet� du premier plan.

Toni bonsoir - effectivement, le ciel n'a pas la tr鋊 haute qualit� habituelle de tes ciels - par contre, le premier plan a des tons absolument remarquables - c'est de toute mani鋨e une tr鋊 belle et tr鋊 impressionnante photo avec ces courbes faites par la montagne et la baie -

What i really like is the leading line the from the top of the hill down around to the otherside of the bay. Your eye really travels in this shot, Great work.

Tres bon ton POV, mais je pense que ta photo n est pas prise depuis le mont AMOS, Selon moi elle est prise aux environs du belvedere sur la route de Wineglass, Le mont Amos que tu as escalade bien sur , est plus haut, sur un chemin plus a gauche et bien raide .

Beautiful view, pristine nature with no sign of human impact. I think this is from the lookout point over the bay and not from the summit itself, that is a separate longer steeper trail, but bravo if you managed to climb up with carrying a child.

C'est tr� sympa : on se laisse guider par la cr皻e qui nous emm鋝e doucement vers la crique. On passe alors dans les bleus et on comprend que la photo est tr鋊 riche de couleurs, de formes et de perspectives. C'est tr鋊 r徼ssi.
