Photographer's Note
The Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area is one of the largest conservation reserves in Australia. At 1.38 million hectares, it covers approximately 20 per cent of the land area of the island of Tasmania. It is one of only three temperate wilderness areas remaining in the Southern Hemisphere.
The Franklin - Gordon Wild Rivers National Park lies in the heart of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area. It is a region of dramatic mountain peaks, beautiful rainforest, deep river valleys and spectacular gorges. The park is famous for the wild and pristine rivers that twist their way through the wilderness. The Franklin River itself has become synonymous with Australia's largest conservation battle - the battle to save the Franklin from a proposed hydro-electric power scheme which would have flooded the river. The Lyell Highway winds for 56 kilometers through the heart of the Franklin - Gordon Wild Rivers National Park. In the eastern part of the park the highway passes Mount King William I. That’s where this photo was taken. Mount King William I is the left peak on the photo.

Bonsoir Harko
Jolie succession de teintes dans ce cadrage. Le paysage est grandiose et j'aime bien l'impression d'immensité qui en ressort. Beau travail

Hi Harko, you got a very good low POV here including very well the grass in the front and leading it until the mountains. The colors are really beautiful and the blue sky with the clouds contrasts very well. I just think that descentralizing slighlty the three mountains would have added some compositional interest (rule of 2/3).

Hi again Harko
What stunning scenery with the golden grass which contrasts so well with the mountain and blue sky. Excellent sharpness and saturation. I like the wildness of the place.

Hello Harko,
I do like this one as a classic example of a good landscape shot, and I appreciate your good note to go with it.
The only thing that bothers me here is oversharpening, so the area between the very foreground and the peaks looks a bit weird/dodgy (many details lost). It also may be due to JPG compression... what do you think?

Hi Harko.
Good this low POV for the landscape. The saturated colours and the perspective -good depth with these clouds and with the mountain- are very interesting for the photo.
Well done.
