Photographer's Note
Found this rotting (kangaroo?) skeleton in the Murchison River gorge. On a regular summer day, temperatures on the plains reach 45-50 degrees, down below in the river gorge, temperatures easily reach 60 degrees and more between the basking hot red rocks. On a fife hour hike the two of us needed every drop of the 5 liters water we had with us.
