Photographer's Note
We found this beautiful spot on a short loop walk near Punakaiki. The bush in this area is truly incredible - many species of fern grow here, and the birdsong make a wonderful soundtrack.
It was hot so we went off the path to sit my the river and cool down in the water. There was nobody around! so a great opportunity to freely swim in the nude...until we saw some kayakers coming up the river and quickly ran to cover up again.
