We'd rented a holiday home for a weekend in Whataroa. On monday morning we found this beautiful frozen landscape in our backyard. It was pretty cold, but it was just astonishing to see how wonderful New Zealand is.

Very nice shot.. I love the composition you managed to capture. The light is excellent and the mountains in the background very attractive.. Very well done! Bravo!

Hi Michiel...I like your composition. I can almost feel the crisp air from the frost. I like the soft light as the morning sun begins the thaw. Great DOF too.
