Photographer's Note

This is Lake Matheson located near Fox Glacier in South Westland, New Zealand - but not as as the postcards show it. This very spot is famous for its spectacular views of Aoraki/Mount Cook (NZ𠏋 highest peak) and Mount Tasman rising grandly behind the treeline. On another day these snow covered peaks would be reflected in these still waters but given the high rainfall in Westland, chances are that this is the view you will see too.
