Blue and white, a photo from West Coast, South Island

Photographer's Note

Just near lake Mapourika north of Franz Josef we came across this river with its brilliant blue water (snow runoff?) and the equally brilliant white river side areas of stone. This mix is common along the west coast of South Island.

Hello Ian,
The place is very beautiful and really great with that magnificent river water clean and blue, making a big curve. It's a shame to cut the top of the mountain.
