Beautiful place! That small pond reflects nicely that perfect volcano cone. And there's just enough snow up there to add more contrast.

Dear Vincent,

A well composed and lovely landscape shot. Great idea to use the split filter for such shots - I have always found it hard to control the brightness of such a subject!

Hello Vincent - The symmetry of the volcano is extraordinary and you have captured such good detail from the bottom to the snowy top. The pool makes a fine FG too, the reflection is soft and attractive and the grassy surrounds add another colour and texture. Very good shot. Warm regards rosemary

Wow ...... the perfect volcal with wonderful shapes, snow on top is the perfect touch to the ideal photographic, your POV is superb with this pond in the foreground that provides some nice reflections.

Hi Vince

You're being way too hard on yourself to call that an "imperfect" reflection. Pretty damn close if you ask me. and yes the mountain, its proportions and shape are perfect. what a superb photo with beautiful light regulation, use of the split filter and wonderful depth. And a fantastic POV chosen.

beautiful picture. I like the full symmetry here. The mountain in the very middle is less conventional but it goes so well with the round shaped lake and even the reflection of the peak falls in the centre of the lake. Amazing effect. -so picturesque!
Lovely composition with the bit grass in the foreground. Great natural and well saturated colors. This is a place where I could sit for hours enjoying the view.
