Continuing the series of images caught in the Ecological Reserve Costanera Sur, I present my first panoramic, in this case "The City" from the nature.
The dream takes shape the 5 of June of 1986, by municipal ordinance is created the Park Natural and Zone of Ecological Reserve Costanera Sur.
Their waters are calm and stirred only by the wind and the movements of birds. Ducks, swan coots, grebes and storks, together with insects, toads, and frogs, execute a symphony of sounds that fill the air by day and by night. At the edge of the water, the diferents hues of green of reeds and cattails offer adequate refuge to "coypos" (False otter) and to a large variety of nesting birds.
Between the paths we can discover a sea of colous green, white and sometimes violet.
In this particular type of grassland we find a giant grass called "cortadera" (Pampas
grass) or "cola de zorro" (Fox tails) because of their glittering feathery tops. Many birds such as the "verdones" (finches) "Tordos" (Blackbirds) and Picos de plata "Spectacled tyrants) find food and rest there, as well as a good breeding place.
Field mice live in the lower parts of this green labyrinth, and pass unnoticed except to the hawks and the silent snakes that feed on them. The cortadera brings part of
the Pampas to the Heart of Buenos Aires.

Très beau panorama Ricardo. Le travail d'assemblagne est parfaitement réussi. Le contraste entre l'avant plan "écologique" et la ville à l'arrière plan est très bien vu. Bravo !

Very interesting low POV! It's great how you contrasted the tall modern buildings with the fields. It's like a frontier! Great colors and details.

Very impressive panorama of Buenos Aires, Ricardo. Good details and well-done stitching job on the large version, as well as a nice rendition of light and colors. In your composition, I like how your use of foreground and the grasses "pointing" towards the city supports your interesting note. Well done.

Interesante.

This is wonderful Ricardo! And your note is pure poetry. I am very impressed with it all. Shooting the skyline through these grasses is a fine idea and the result is spectacular. Color and details are first rate. What a lovely introduction to the capital of your country. Excellent work on every level.

This is a great view. I love the mix of nature and city. And this low point of view is excellent. The capture of the grasses so large in the foreground like the buildings. I also like how clean and modern and streamlined the buildings look with their reflective glass, steel and stone. Another great contrast with the grass. And great colors and lighting at this time of day, too. Excellent job, Ricardo.

Amazing to watch this kind of nature close to a skyline like this - very special indeed - can't image any places around here where this kind of photo could have been taken.
Great work and idea - thanks Ricardo.
