The Perito Moreno Glacier is a glacier located in the Los Glaciares National Park in the south west of Santa Cruz province, Argentina. It is one of the most important tourist attractions in the Argentine Patagonia.
The 250 km2 (97 sq mi) ice formation, and 30 km (19 mi) in length, is one of 48 glaciers fed by the Southern Patagonian Ice Field located in the Andes system shared with Chile. This icefield is the world's third largest reserve of fresh water.

Hello Silvio,
This is a tremendous composition. The tree brings surprising life to this seemingly sterile environment of rocks and ice. The colour of the glacier is fantastic and makes a fine contrast to the dark blue mountains in the background and the almost turquoise water.

Nicht das beste fotografisch gesehen,aber eine tolle Composition mit diesem Baum vor dem Gletscher.
Ich hoffe in einem Jahr dort zu sein ,aber die Fl垐e sind soooo teuer nach S㥣amerika.

grande, il mitico Perito Moreno che grazie a TE ed a chi lo fotpogarfa, come hai fatto tu, si para sotto i nostri occhi: anche questo � il bello di TE: che io ci vada o non ci vada un giorno a vederlo, comunque lo conosco gi�! Magnifiche le tonalit� azzurrine de ghiacciaio e bello l'albero in primo piano che accentua il senso di spazio e profondit�.

Ce glacier est tr鋊 spectaculaire et j'aime la composition avec l'arbre qui semble vouloir r廥ister au monstre envahissant. Le glacier est un peu surexpos�.

Bonjour Silvio,

J'aime bien l'id嶪 de cette photo qui oppose le vivant de l'arbre avec le ur de glace en arri鋨e plan. De ce point de vue, l'usage d'un teleobjectif a permis de faire paraitre plus proche le front du glacier.

Danke f僡 deinen Hinweis, dass der Perito Morneo in Argentinien liegt.

Zu deinem Bild:
Das Bild hat f僡 mich symbolischen Charakter. Es lebt aus dem Kontrast zwischen dem, was wir als Leben (der Baum) und Tod (das Eis) empfinden.
Diese Auslegung wird durch das kalte Blau des Eises und die warmen Farben im Vordergrund zus酹zlich unterst慤zt.
Ich glaube, ich wei�, wo genau am Gletscher dieser Baum steht. :)

Finalmente ce l'hai fatta a vedere questa fetta di sudamerica....emozionante vero, mmm vedo che hai portato a casa scatti molto belli, do' subito un'occhiata.
Questo con un elemento centrale non mi f� impazzire, per� l'idea di creare questi contrasti � molto buona e le geometrie con questa linea obliqua sono una bella chicca....Petta che guardo il resto!
