Photographer's Note

This is a view of the city of la Paz from El Alto, the highest part of the city (4000 mt high!!!). I arrived to La Paz by plane and I got an unforgettable view of the city. I could see houses everywhere, and the shiny roofs maked of metal panels. Then after a few steps out of the plane I got the idea of what it means living at 4000 meters: difficult breathing, headache and my head spinning. Definitely shocking...
Once at the hotel I was served a hot tea made from coca leaves which it is supposed to help you getting more oxygen in your body, unfortunately I do not think it worked for me...
