Photographer's Note

Laguna Verde: one of the most amazing places in south western Bolivia. The colors of the lake are due to algae in the water, and they changes accordingly to wind and sun reflection. Here a part free from ice is bright blue-green, while the rest, almost frozen, is more blue-grey.

sar� pure una scansione...per� il contrasto cromatico tra i toni arsi dal sole delle ande e l'azzurro intenso della laguna � veramente eccezionale.

Truly amazing colours, Stefano, (perhaps a little enhanced by the Velvia film?) and especially the difference between the parts of the lake that are iced over and not iced over. Lovely layering for a strong visual impact. Cheers . . . David

fantastiche le tonalit� verde-blu dell'acqua, sormontate dalle dolci ondulazioni marroni del terreno, e dal bell'inserimento dell'intenso azzurro del cielo.

Very true and authentic colors, Classic, beautiful, I wish to have seen it with my own eyes, I will one day. this is a very nice shot, great colors rich int tone as I imagine it to be. The green and bluish gray contrast very well with the golden brown and good composition. Thanks
