SUD LIPEZ
Laguna Verde (1/2)

Laguna Verde (1/2)
We are finally at Laguna Verde, 4305m heigh, a must of our trip! We are lucky: an icy wind is blowing to at least 80 km/h without interruption, engulfing between the Sairecabur volcano and the perfect cone of the Licancabur (5920m). Lucky? Yes, really lucky, because it is only under these conditions and with the clear sky at about 11h AM that the lagoon takes its splendid and unforgettable emerald color. With such a weather, you need the most total abnegation to install a tripod and to make panoramic shots (in fact, for several panos...) of 11 shots. As Jean-Yves (PixelTerror) "had ordered me" this pano before I went to Bolivia, I decided to freeze me. (euh... impossible to translate). Laguna Verde is made of 2 lakes, the Laguna Verde itself and the Laguna Blanca (on the left). You can cross with 4WD vehicle, the isthmus, in front of the volcano Juriques (5704m). The pano of 11 photos was assembled with AutoStich. It have been reduced to 6 photo for TE. The colors were not modified, nor reinforced.
