CHURCH OF GOOD DEATH, a photo from Goias, Center-West

Photographer's Note

Here we can see the fa蓷de of the church of Our Lady of Good Death, built in 1779. During the procession of Fogar徼 its gate is used as the first stage from the staging and walking across the city of Jerusalem to hunt Jesus, as it was showed in the video attached in the previous post.
You can see a big white building at right, it is a palace I will show after.
This city was the first capital of State of Goi嫳 and it is a city protected by UN branch (UNESCO) as a treasure of mankind.

Podem ver um pr嶮io branco � direita, ele � um pal塶io que vou mostrar mais adiante.
Essa cidade foi a primeira capital de Goi嫳 e � tombada pela UNESCO como tesouro da humanidade.

Hello Jorge,

What you describe sounds like a very important, religious ritual. The facade of the church is well captured and well placed in your composition.
The adjoining street appears very steep, leading to the palace.

I always like to remove lens distortion as much as possible, though I know many prefer to leave it. I have done a little w/s with lens distortion removed. I hope you like it and are not offended.

The name of the church is quite particular.

Un bonito conjunto arquitectonico el que forman la iglesia y la linea de casas a la derecha de la misma, una pavimentacion irregular y en cuesta, lo peor para caminar.
Buena perspectiva de la imagen, muy agradable a la vista.
