Photographer's Note

The summer is short for the beach sellers of our state, Paran, in the southern Brazil. People just enjoy the beaches from middle december untill the Carnaval, with some extra little activity during march. We have been living some extra summer days right now, with temperatures around pleasant 25-28C, but the beaches are almost empty, believe me, like gost cities.
In a few days the autumm will open its wings over us (where the hell is the autumn now?) and the temperatures will fall down to 15-20C and the beach sellers will do anything else untill december. Well, I am sure that they already are doing something different to live..
Here you see a woman in the middle of february selling cotton candies, weathervanes (I don愒 know if is it the right name) and the local typical and famous "barquilha" (You can find it beside the wheel. It is a large, sweet and thin crust home made with flour and water). Its very cheap.
Regards,
Zeca
